  • April 19, 2023. Arts-Integrated poetry workshop for Columbus County Schools’ innovative High School Poet Laureate program. Location: Columbus County Arts Council.
  • January 28-February 3, 2023. Poet in Residence at East Columbus Jr./Sr. High School in Columbus County as part of a 2023 Arts in Education Artist Residency Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council. In partnership with Black Box Dance Theater.
  • COALESCE, a collaborative exhibition between visual artists and poets is in view at Eno Arts Mill through Saturday, January 28, 2023. The public is invited to visit the exhibit Tuesday-Saturday, 12-5pm.
    • Includes Gideon’s poem american english, inspired by TJ Mundy’s piece “Untitled, but kind of…” and TJ’s new piece “Vital: Record,” inspired by Gideon’s poem things i must consider.
  • A poetry review of Wayne Caldwell’s Woodsmoke, appearing in Our State Magazine (October 2022 issue).
  • August 2022. Social Emotional Learning workshops for Educators featuring translation and creation of poetry and Josef Albers’ artwork.
